Beaver Castoreum: Fur Buyers, Gloves, Wholesale

Hand Armor Gloves has worked hard to develop close business relationships with beaver castoreum markets around the world.  There is no reason to ship to auction houses in Canada and have to pay commission fees as well as the huge deductions in weight.  Hand Armor Gloves issues checks immediately and at current market price.  GET PAID IMMEDIATELY AND FAIRLY FOR YOUR LABOR INTENSIVE PRODUCT!

Removing and Cleaning the Beaver Castoreum

Remove the castors right after skinning the beaver. The castors are located right above the vent hole and can easily be removed with the help of a knife and your fingers. Make a cut About 2 inches above the vent hole; you will see the castor glands, one on each side. Do not cut or tear the castors. Try to remove the glands clean of any extra membranes or fat. Do not ship oil glands as there is no market for them. Once you have removed the castors hang to dry in about 60°F or 15°C for about 4 days or till the castor is dry to the touch. After two days of drying, take the castors and open up to allow the center to dry between the 2 castors.

After 4 days of drying place air tight zip lock bag and put in freezer.  Take castors out of freezer 3 days before shipping.  Place castors on cardboard and have air circulating ever the castors.  This prepares them for shipment so there should be no leakage during the shipment process.  Remember   take every precaution necessary to keep resin from leaking out of pods, this is what will make #1 grade change to #2 or #3 grade.
