You can avoid hardening your gloves by following these tips:

  1. The very first thing you need to do is to take your toothbrush and use it to clean your gloves as much as possible.
  2. The next step is to take a bucket with cold water. Add some salt and mild shampoo to it. Now dip your gloves in soapy water and rub the dirt with your fingers. Don’t forget to pay extra attention to the fingertips of your gloves. Once the dirt is out, gently squeeze out the water without twisting your gloves. Then put each finger on an old-style clothespin. It will prevent the fingers of your gloves from deforming.
  3. The next step is to find a cool place and hang your gloves by using clothespins. Now take a soft cotton cloth and use it to massage or knead your gloves. Continue kneading your gloves every few hours until they get completely dry.

Ensure to clean your gloves according to the methods mentioned above. Trust us; there will be no hardening.

Remember, don’t dry out your gloves by using a hairdryer, heater, or dry them in the sun, as it’ll ruin your gloves. Also, don’t overdo the cleaning process or wash them too frequently to maintain your gloves’ quality. Cleaning them 2-3 times each winter is probably alright!
